There will be a Bike and Car Show at Club Oasis on May 19. Wash your ride, bring it along and show it off! Hi-Speed Solutions is teaming up with Barb’d Wire to bring you the latest in wireless technology, GSM phones, and introduce you to the wonderful world of TORCO Racefuels and Royal Purple Synthetic Oils.

Opening day for Alaska Raceway Park will be Mother’s Day, May 13. Test and Tune is $25 per driver, Race Entry is $50 per driver, and spectators are $15. Track is open due to weather so check with Alaska Raceway Park to verify track conditions.

Porsche Club of America will be hosting their first Solo II event once again at Bartlett High School. Entry fees are $30 per driver. Make sure you arrive no later than 9 am for tech inspection and registration!

SCCA will be hosting it’s annual Test and Tune at Alaska Raceway Park May 5-6. This event will be a great way to improve or add to those attending the Solo II school or for new drivers who may be interested in the sport. Check SCCA for more information.

SCCA will be hosting the 2007 Solo II School April 27 – 29 at Alaska Raceway Park.

Friday will have in classroom lectures and demonstrations while Saturday will be in car seat time by instructors. Sunday will be an event. Registration is limited to 50, SCCA Members only registration is now. Open registration will be April 16 until all slots are filled. Cost is $130 for non-members and $95 for members for the entire 3 day event.
